THBC – The Hanoi Bicycle Collective, a business that promotes cycling by selling, fixing (25 years experienced European mechanic) and renting bicycles. THBC is proud to support the Newborns Vietnam Cycle a Difference Asian Business Challenge Ride THBC is providing the cycling jerseys for the Newborns Vietnam cycling team – The Seniors and Locals teams. We are also helping the British Ambassador to Vietnam with his training for the ride and were happy to assemble his bicycle when it arrived from the UK.

Besides the business aspect, THBC is also very active in promoting bicycle use and environmentally friendly transportation. THBC supports many such projects and activities, like You Cycle You Save and Positive Mass:
– You Cycle You Save:, a project that encourages people to use bicycles by having a network of cafes, restaurants, bars and spaces that offer discounts to cyclists.
– Positive Mass: inspired by Critical Mass, a worldwide event held in more than 450 cities around the world, is a bicycle ride held on Hanoi Streets on the last Friday of every month.

THBC is currently working to open Electric Smiles:e), a social enterprise that combines environmentally friendly means of transport (electric bicycles charged by solar panels) with opportunities for disadvantaged people.
The objectives are:
– To be a sustainable social enterprise by making a viable business of renting and selling electric bicycles, as well as organizing eco-tours by bicycle.
– To train and employ the disadvantaged people as bicycle mechanics and tour guides.
