Asian Business Ride, Day 2, A Luoi to Dong Ha

We leave A Luoi and travel down the Ho Chi Minh road east, through the mountainous area bordering Laos. Many of the hills in the area became famous during the border battles of the mid-late 1960s during the Vietnam War, the best known is the site of the Battle of Hamburger Hill. For a time we follow a river with ethnic tribe villages dotted along the road. We then join road 9 and into Dong Ha. From Dong Ha we are bused to our overnight stay in Hue.
