Asian Business Ride, Day 1, Thanh My to A Luoi

The Ho Chi Minh Road climbs, undulates and descends from Thany My to Prao against the backdrop of the imposing Truong Son Mountain range with stunning views across un-spoilt forest. Tucked away in the hills near the Lao border, Prao is a frontier town that also serves as the centre of the Ka Tu hill tribe. You can see the distinctive wooden homes of the Ka Tu as you approach Prao, and the women working the fields in their unique woven dress. Ka Tu women are the only weavers in Southeast Asia who still weave beads into their fabrics by hand.

As we finish our first day challenge in the mountain we head to A Luoi across the famous Dakrong bridge and Ta Rut village where the Pa Co minority ethnic live.
