Cycle A Difference Vietnam Challenge Ride 2015 – Chim Sao Title Sponsor
Premier Oil is delighted to maintain its support for Newborns Vietnam by continuing as Chim Sao Title Sponsor, with PV Gas, PV PTSC M&C, PV Trans Oilfield, PV PTSC Marine, Aquaterra Energy & Deloitte Vietnam for the 2015 Cycle a Difference, Vietnam Challenge Ride.
Newborns Vietnam is committed to improving newborn and maternal care in Vietnam by providing specialised training to neonatal nurses that will reduce the prevalence of life threatening or life limiting outcomes and improve survival rates in neonatal intensive care units. This inspirational UK/Vietnam partnership is improving newborn nursing care by delivering specialist neonatal nurse training programme the first nurses graduated in 2014. We have witnessed a major difference in newborn care and since 2011 mortality has reduced by two thirds.
As Title Sponsor of Cycle a Difference 2013 and the 2014 Asian Business Ride, Premier saw how the strength, performance and commitment of cyclists and sponsors can change the life chances of thousands of newborns in Vietnam. Its support enabled some incredible young men and women, including two cyclists from Premier, to raise over £400,000 for neonatal nurse and medical education in Vietnam.
Premier is therefore proud to be a Chim Sao title sponsor with our associate companies. This will raise the funds for Newborns Vietnam to not only continue neonatal training but also lay the foundations to expand into a national programme across Vietnam. Once again Premier staff are participating in cycling and joining the 1,500 kilometre ride for the final 500k.
