Cyclothon UK 2014 – Great result for the Newborns Vietnam team.

The Newborns Vietnam team came second out of 45 teams and there was only 2 minutes and 38 seconds between the Newborns team and the winners. After 12 hours of cycling, 109 laps and 265 miles we were all pleased with the result! Great team riding with some very fast laps and lots of fun. Well done Rob, Gary, Richard, Adel, Louis and Adam all veterans of Cycle a Difference Vietnam Challenge Ride

Fedex Saves the Day for Newborns Vietnam Cyclothon!
The Newborns Vietnam team’s cycling jerseys kindly provided by The Hanoi Bicycle Cooperative were delayed on leaving Viet Nam. They arrived at Heathrow on Wednesday morning and with all the customs procedures etc there was no chance of the team having them for the Cyclothon. A phone call to Fedex and their team lead by Simon pulled out all the stops to save the day. At 9.30 on Wednesday evening the jerseys were handed over to Suzanna and the team rode out on Thursday morning in their Newborns Vietnam Kit. Huge thanks to Simon, Bali and Rob for fantastic coordination and a great we can make this happen spirit!
