Cycle a Difference Asian Business Ride September 2016
Our 2016 Cycle a Difference Asian Business Ride (CAD ABR) achieved great things in 3 days, both physically and financially. It is always humbling to see cyclists of all abilities struggling up and down mountains, pushing their bodies and mental capacity to the limit of their endurance to raise funds for our work, to change the life chances of thousands of newborn infants in Vietnam. Huge thanks to all our cyclists, the ride raised over $100,000.
Finishing such an epic journey, 500 km, 3,000 meters of climbing, where people had searched and found something magical, through the pain and suffering offered by turning the pedals in such a stunning environment is an emotional experience. This bond of pain, suffering and sacrifice embodies everything our Cycle a Difference rides stand for.
Rolling into Da Nang with a police escort flying through roundabouts to an amazing reception by the nurses and doctors at the hospital, saw even the toughest of our riders wiping away a tear or two.
